Since establishing the Institute in Washington DC in 1991, HRH Prince Osman Rifat Ibrahim has been emphasizing to the world of Egypt’s rich heritage in the modern era (1805-1953) and the role of the Mohamed Ali dynasty in the evolution of Arab Renaissance, starting with the modernization of the Economy, Industry, Agriculture, Military & Education.

This modernization, starting in the early 19th century, quickly transformed Egypt into a regional geopolitical power in the years to come.

The legacy of Mohamed Ali & his dynasty also serves today’s & future leaders, as an inspirational model of Leadership, effective Management & Vision; all essential elements for a nation’s strength, progress, peace and unity.

The Institute also promotes the positive and lasting contributions of Islamic heritage, such the Golden Age of Islamic Art & Culture as well as nurturing Religious Tolerance & Understanding.
