The Department of History and Historical Memory & Society Group (Section of The History of eritage and Science) of CPES – Center for Research and Social Studies, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies in Lisbon, organized a Session with HRH Prince Osman Rifat Ibrahim of Egypt, Chaiman of the Royal Institute Mohamed Ali, who spoke about Egypt and the Ottoman Empire – culture, heritage and current affairs.
The Prince was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Teotónio R. de Souza, Director of the Department of History, and presented to the participants by Prof. Dr. Ana Cristina Martins, regent of the subjects of Art and Heritage in the 1st cycle of History. Also present at the table was Prof. Angela Montalvão Machado, PhD, Director of the Faculty of Political Science, Lusophony and International Relations.
Prof. Dr. Teotónio R. de Souza welcomed the speaker and expressed his satisfaction and interest that the conference had for the topic of political science and international relations.
